ScholarshipsAs a not-for-profit organization, Springfield Ballet trains students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Scholarship students are expected to meet all scholarship requirements, and scholarships may only be applied toward tuition for the semester in which it was awarded.
Springfield Ballet announces scholarship auditions for the fall 2010 semester for children ages seven and older who have a strong passion and desire for ballet. No previous dance experience is needed to apply. Students must fill out a detailed application, exhibit talent and potential, ad attend an audition in order to be considered for a scholarship. Limited funds are available for full and partial need-based and merit-based scholarships. Applications are available at the Springfield Ballet business office located in The Creamery Arts Center, or may be downloaded at the link below.

All auditions will be held at Springfield Ballet. Applicants with no previous dance experience should contact Ashley Paige Williams, school director, to set up an audition and assessment prior to May 3, 2010. Applicants with previous dance experience should bring their completed application to the appropriate audition date listed below:
Tuesday, June 29, 6:00-7:00 p.m. (ages 7-9) Thursday, July 1, 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. (ages 10-15, for students not en pointe) Thursday, July 1, 6:00-8:30 p.m.(ages 11 and older, for students en pointe)
