Giving

You Keep Us Moving!
Ticket sales and school tuition cover only a portion of Springfield Ballet’s expenses to offer the best in classical ballet training for the Springfield and surrounding communities, produce superior quality productions for all ages, and offer community educational outreach to students of all backgrounds.  Without our donors, the services we offer to the community would not be possible.

Types of Giving
Whether you are an individual or a corporation, Springfield Ballet has many opportunities for support.  We accept gifts of cash, stock transfers, planned gifts, matching gifts, and in-kind gifts.  All gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.  Springfield Ballet encourages you to consult your attorney, accountant, or financial advisor when making a contribution.

Legacy Scholarship Fund
Many students would not be able to attend Springfield Ballet, or study dance at all, if not for scholarship opportunities. The number of scholarship applicants continues to rise every semester. The average household income of need-based scholarship applicants is $36,016 for an average family size of five. In March 2012, Springfield Ballet launched the Legacy Scholarship Fund to provide sustainable funding for these need-based tuition scholarships.
Please help us meet our three-year goal of $200,000 to ensure financial security for Springfield Ballet's educational and outreach programming into the future by making a gift or pledge towards this special fund today.

What Will My Gift Be Used For?
